It turns out this is the “newer” model, so I think that’s fine.I had a 40 inch set in my family room that was still working, but it couldn’t do 4K.Keep in mind that your experience may not be the same as mine, simply because people see things differently due to eyesight and so on.I will say if you get this tv or any tv in general get it because you want it for your needs.First: Quality control. The TV itself has a great picture, decent sound although I did add a soundbar to it.IDK when the customer service industry made “stupid” a hiring prerequisite, but it seems to be universal. For the price, I’m not happy.I DIDN’T PAY THIS HIGH A PRICE JUST TO HAVE MY TIME WASTED ON A REGULAR BASIS, BUT THATS WHAT IM GETTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, I have just about as fast an internet connection as you can get in the US, so there is no way this is not a TV software problem.Overall, this TV is a solid recommendation at around a $1600 price point.I’ve gone back and forth on wanting to return it, but the alternatives all have their own pros and cons, and it doesn’t seem like anyone has made a perfect TV yet.I have an older TV hooked up to my PS4 Pro and comparing the 2 side by side with just PS4 games you can totally see how much better the QN90 is! I would recommend this TV to anyone who wants to get the most from their next generation game console.I love it so much.I had been thinking for almost a year that my next TV was going to be the TCL 6 series with mini-leds but as I read I changed my mind., just no 4K.What’s worse is Samsung made a recent firmware change that prevents you from using your AV receiver surround sound and the 4K 120hz picture at the same time,,,,edit: after consulting a home theatre expert I found a way to bypass the eArc conundrum and still get surround sound without the eArc functioning so I’ll bump the rating up to 4 stars,,, great picture. The first was a used 20″ CRT sometime in the early 1990’s that mainly got used as a monitor for a Coleco ADAM.many other features that i have yet to make use of.Upscaling works great, better than Nvidia shield pro. They prioritize the picture and practically expect you’ll do something for sound.

The picture quality is 10 out of 10.The app support is decent, although the Paramount app is noticeably laggy. You know the old fashion ones made out of paper, easy to flip thru and write notes in.I cancelled the order and ordered the Samsung.All-in-all it’s a good TV.But I’m a gamer, and I bought this TV particularly to game on.But if youre looking for a gaming TV….I bought this 43 inch version because i was soooo impressed with the 75 inch i purchased that i wanted the same thing as a pc monitor, just smaller.Although the description claims the specs to have 120Hz and VRR, that’s only for the 50′ or bigger models. Most shows appear with the “soap opera effect. So I returned it and went with the 50″ I’d been looking to upgrade my tv to a bigger and better one.Couldn’t be happier, like being in a movie theatre.Purchased on Amazon, delivered at house at no problem.I also do my own settings for everything, and tried to look at the QN90A with a critical eye.All my TVs are Samsung, started with two plasmas back in 2008 and glad I stuck with them for this Neo QLED.converts old shows into 4K like pictures.

The picture quality is amazing.Easy to stream shows.High quality picture, anti-glare and good viewing angle range. It is a challenge to find the section to load competitor apps like YouTube TV.It’s a great tv the picture is outstanding.Play buttons burned into the lower right hand corner, upper left, etc. There is probably way too many adjustments as far as picture quality and smart features for someone who grew up with one ota channel.Wonderful color. This TV is the only real alternative to OLED TVs so naturally I purchased this TV instead, only to find out this god awful TV also dims the screen randomly! But I thought the only good thing about this TV is that it’s at least bright unlike the OLED?….It was easy to set up and the solar charged remote is easy to use.Ultimately I went with the Neo QLED, mostly because I didn’t want to have to replace the TV in 3 years due to burn in.The picture is great. The detail is so clear.I am happy with the purchase.I wish the port that supports 120hz was also the earc port because the tv does not pass DTS audio back to your AVR.How can you provide a remote that has no keypad???? After going through several steps to find the screen, you have to punch in channel numbers on a touch sensitive screen…very frustrating….The minor savings didn’t make up for the screen imperfections of purchasing used.Poor Uniformity.
