I just bought the TV on Sept 10, 2020.Will never get anything where Best Buy is involved again. When I contacted Best Buy I was transferred 5 times each time told just to plug the thing in.TV will not turn off with manual button on bottom left nor with remote.Remote control looked good… Beautiful vivid colors, very easy to set up.Today, I took down her Old TV and mounted and setup this TV – it was a very easy process.I’m generally sort of a tv snob and don’t like anything outside of Samsung. Also, it constantly shuts off.At this point, I knew my tv would be broken.About a week ago, I noticed a pronounced thin green vertical line on the left side of the screen.Returned that and got this one It took some getting used to the fire tv, I have always used Roku. After shopping a while and reading reviews, I thought this was a great deal.ssl-images-amazon.Don’t buy a fire TV.I only had it for 20 minutes.I don’t need a sound bar to hear my program in another room.0 …make sure you are using a high speed cable too…i thought my Xbox One X’s were being gimped, but my PS4 Pro insisted not only does the TV do 4K, but also HDR…and whereas Sony’s system automatically “enacts” to 4K Deep Color, Microsoft’s machine will not evem offer it unless the monitor says its ok.I’m going to insignia from previously having a Roku tv which decided to bug out on me after only 2-3 years of use which I was very disappointed by.4k works good with prime, aside from that it’s 1080.
I’ve only tried it on passthrough mode. The remote won’t pair.Big sad. First of all, I don’t understand why it took 8 days to get this TV, I could have picked it up in Mesa, or I could have driven to Best Buy in Flagstaff, but it shipped from Texas! In the amount of time it took for Fed Ex to deliver I could have driven to Texas and back at least 6 times, why wasn’t it shipped from Mesa?! Anyway……we have had the TV for 3 days now and I still can’t figure out how to watch it with my Dish TV, no directions that tell me how to do this, so my hubby takes the remote and after pushing button after button he somehow can eventually get there, I have yet to figure it out, and he has dementia, so of course he doesn’t remember how he did it.I have this in my bedroom so it’s not in a theater set-up; it’s mostly to watch the morning news and catchup on reality tv shows.Today I turned the TV on, there is no picuter for live tv anymore and every single app is displaying only in the upper left corner of the screen, like this the picture is smaller than my 32″ tv I had before .An Alexa integrated TV not supporting Alexa speakers is just sad.And now after 9 months, the TV is flashing a red light and we can’t get it to do anything.I did a return request and getting another tv was not an option.Sure enough I opened it and the screen was cracked.Picture quality is better than expected. The Geek squad pointed out a flaw on the screen.November 24th, so barely a month out and all we get is green screen. The other is hooked up to the PS4 Pro and gets used a ton, late nights playing games at its highest settings is a common occurrence.Currently awaiting the replacement remote which I am forced to order. The interface with Fire is SO good that I actually sold my Apple TV.Got it Prime Week, which was a killer deal.I like that the remote was very familiar being a FireStick user. The picture and sound quality are up to par for the money you pay.
After having this TV connected for about a month, I turn it on one day and the screen kept flicking on and off.Had to buy a Roku adapter. The picture and audio are fine, it is nice to be connected to different apps.I had a Vizio smart TV for years and the picture quality on this one is oh so much better. This was my first smart tv and figured it would take me days to setup.Netflix, youtube, plex: all do it.Was delivered very quickly and worked great for one week then the screen went blank. But we don’t watch that stuff much anyway…….It appeared to have been dropped or hit.a tv is a tv.I have had to change the batteries 4 times in that short window of usage and it gets warm even when not in use.Just connect to antenna, you’ll get free aired programs as well. This one however is a fluke. It’s hard to find a TV these days with every connection possible in the back yet 4k resolution in the front. The remote is okay, but the button in the center of the directional circle control occasionally sticks.UPDATED: Ordered a second one.Usb doesn’t work, initial TV start screen is annoying and won’t simply just turn on the last input, so everything you turn the TV on you have to select what its displaying.First, buying it online and picking it up locally at Best Buy went without a hitch.
