HDTV Dolby vision, the highest standard of HDR

The difference between the two is that the metadata of hdr-10 is static, while Dolby vision uses the metadata that is dynamically adjusted frame by frame. As for the HLG developed by the two TV stations, it is mainly aimed at the video broadcasting industry with limited broadband transmission. The signal does not carry metadata, but combines SDR and HDR signals.
Dolby vision is different from the other two in terms of its status in the entertainment industry. The other two are only used for TV video content, while Dolby vision is not only used for TV broadcasting, but also for cinemas. Dolby cinema seems to have overshadowed IMAX.
Hdr-10 is built on the same core technical functions as Dolby vision. Dolby vision can be downward compatible with hdr-10, but not vice versa. There is little difference in brightness, color and other parameters, but hdr-10 only supports 10 bit color depth, Dolby supports up to 12 bit, with better picture level and detail performance.
In addition, Dolby vision also brings higher brightness: the brightness range that the human eye can observe is 10 ^ 5 CD / m2. The closer the peak brightness of the TV is to this value, the more obvious the HDR effect will be. Richer color volume: high brightness plus wide color gamut and high color depth will bring more three-dimensional color performance, which can express the color more clearly under the condition of extreme brightness, such as the profusion in fireworks highlight, the gorgeous in urban night scene, and the richer color level under ordinary brightness.
